From a first idea in 2022 to the world.

  1. 2022

    J58 was founded

    Founded by Gabriel Costa, Dr. Rivelino Montenegro and Augusto Hossana, with a mission to enhance the lives of wheelchair users through an innovative standing mechanical wheelchair that offers practical and emotional benefits.

  2. 2023

    Oost NL Award

    Winner of the Oost NL Impact Award at the University of Twente Entrepreneurial Challenge.

  3. 2024

    Two more prizes

    UT Challenge Start-up Award and the 4TU Impact Challenge jury award.

  4. 2025

    Nationale Zorginnovatie

    Recognised at the Nationale Zorginnovatie Prijs 2025.

  5. December 2025

    CE mark

    The EZER is CE marked and officially on the market.

  6. April 2026

    Entering Germany

    Our first step into the German market.

  7. May 2026

    Extending to Australia

    Taking the EZER beyond Europe.

  8. June 2026

    Finland

    Expanding further into the Nordics.

    We’ve participated in numerous local, regional and national competitions in the Netherlands, where our innovative standing wheelchair has been recognized for its life-changing impact on wheelchair users, earning several awards for innovation.
